Payallar Public Beach is located on the Mediterranean coast in the Payallar neighborhood, in the western part of Alanya. Unlike the crowded beaches in the city center, it is a destination worth considering for visitors looking to explore Alanya’s western coast.
Payallar Beach
One of Payallar’s most notable features is its long stretch of coastline. Through a recreational project carried out by the Alanya Municipality, an approximately 4-kilometer stretch of coastline encompassing the neighborhoods of Türkler, Payallar, and Konaklı has been developed. As part of the project, walking and biking paths, green spaces, rest areas, and various social spaces have been created.
Therefore, visitors to Payallar can combine their beach visit with a walk or bike ride along the shore.
Sea and Coast
In official environmental documents, the soil composition of various coastal sections in the Payallar region is recorded as sand. However, since the Payallar shoreline spans a long stretch, beach access and coastal structure may vary from point to point. Therefore, it would be more accurate not to state in our guide that the entire shoreline has the same structure.
Beach Walking and Biking
This is where Payallar stands out from some of our other beach features. Thanks to the Türkler–Payallar–Konaklı coastal development, we can promote the area not only as a beach but also as a coastal recreation area.

However, since water depth, wave conditions, and coastal topography may vary depending on the specific location and daily weather conditions, existing warnings should be heeded, especially when entering the water with children.
What to Do in Payallar?
During a visit to Payallar, in addition to swimming, you can take a walk along the beach, ride a bike, and spend time in the recreational areas. If planning a longer trip, Payallar can be included in the same itinerary as the nearby regions of Konaklı, Türkler, Avsallar, and İncekum.
