Kargıcak Beach is the stretch of coastline along the Mediterranean Sea in the Kargıcak neighborhood, located east of Alanya. Situated east of Mahmutlar, the area is one of the final sections of Alanya’s long coastline stretching eastward from the city center.

One of the features that makes Kargıcak Beach significant from our guide’s perspective is its inclusion in Alanya’s continuous coastal development project.
The Alanya Municipality states that the eastern section between Alanya city center and Kargıcak has been completed and that uninterrupted access on foot or by bicycle is now available along the 21-kilometer route from the Atatürk Monument to Kargıcak.

Kargıcak is a long coastal area, and its coastal structure can vary depending on the specific location. Therefore, we should not describe the entire Kargıcak coastline simply as sandy, pebbly, or shallow.
Visitors should check the coastal conditions at the point where they plan to enter the water and pay particular attention to sea conditions on days with rough waves.
Biking and Coastal Walking
One of Kargıcak’s standout features is its biking route. The Kestel–Mahmutlar–Kargıcak section of the municipality’s approximately 30-kilometer Dinek–Kargıcak project is among the first sections to be completed. The project also includes walking paths and shaded seating areas.
Therefore, we can recommend a visit to Kargıcak not only for swimming but also for a walk or bike ride along the Mediterranean coast.

Since Mahmutlar and Kargıcak are neighbors, it makes perfect sense to explore both areas along the same coastal route.
You can go for a walk or bike ride toward Kargıcak by following the coastal route eastward from Mahmutlar. Official records indicate that the route organized by the municipality covers both of these neighborhoods.
What Can You Do in Kargıcak?
In addition to visiting the beach, you can take a walk along the shore, use the bike path, and enjoy the Mediterranean views, especially around sunset.
