They Became One Heart for Two Little Hearts
Under the leadership of Eray Erdem, President of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), a meaningful solidarity event was organized to support the treatments of Taha Miraç, who has DMD, and Esila Deniz Yiğitbay, who has SMA.

At the successful event, Alanya once again demonstrated one of the finest examples of solidarity, brotherhood, and kindness to help these two young children cling to life.

The program, which brought together Alanya’s leading figures and civil society organizations, was attended by Alanya District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk, Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, Chief Public Prosecutor Abdullah Sert, members of the protocol, chamber and association presidents, and representatives from numerous civil society organizations.

“ERDEM SAID, ‘ALANYA’S HEART WILL BEAT AS ONE FOR OUR CHILDREN,’ AND MADE THE FIRST DONATION”

Speaking at the event, ALTSO President Eray Erdem emphasized that Taha and Esila are not alone and expressed his belief in Alanya’s generosity and spirit of solidarity.

Erdem stated, “A child’s hope is all of our hope. A child’s grip on life is our collective joy,” and launched the campaign with a donation of 500,000 TL. Erdem expressed his belief that Alanya, just as in the past, would emerge from this campaign with honor thanks to its charitable people, stating, “The solidarity demonstrated here has shown everyone in this hall once again that; when it comes to these children, Alanya can set aside positions, titles, and differences to stand as one. Let’s not force their families to go door to door asking for money. If necessary, let every banana grower donate one bunch; if necessary, let our friends in the hotel industry and local businesses redirect their daily charitable contributions to these children. After all, each of us already helps those in need little by little in our daily lives. Drop by drop, a lake is formed. “All that’s needed here is for us to act as one,” he said.

MAYOR ÖZÇELİK: “I BELIEVE WE WILL RESTORE OUR CHILDREN TO GOOD HEALTH”

Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik stated that both he personally and the municipality would actively support the campaign to ensure its success.

Özçelik expressed his belief that, with the support of Alanya’s generous people, Taha and Esila will receive the treatment they need, conveying the message, “We will fight together so that the hope in these children’s eyes does not fade.”

Mayor Özçelik expressed his confidence that, together with Alanya’s generous residents, they would help these two little ones regain their lives, saying, “Each of us will contribute, but we must also ensure that at least five others join the campaign.”

DISTRICT GOVERNOR ÖZTÜRK: “ALANYA WILL ONCE AGAIN DO ITS PART”

Alanya District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk, meanwhile, highlighted the great spirit of solidarity that Alanya has demonstrated in the past, particularly during the earthquake disaster.
